MINA Museum Cluj Launches the Immersive Experience “From Romania, Simona Halep”
Starting June 11, visitors will be able to discover “From Romania, Simona Halep” at MINA Cluj, an immersive experience dedicated to the journey of one of the greatest athletes in Romanian history.
Created using multimedia technology and large-scale projections, the experience takes visitors through the defining moments of Simona Halep’s career, from her first steps in tennis and the dreams of a young girl from Constanța to the achievements that led her to become World No. 1 and a Grand Slam champion at Roland-Garros and Wimbledon.
Through spectacular visuals, iconic career moments, and a narrative told in Simona’s own voice, the exhibition offers an emotional look at the road to excellence, highlighting not only the victories but also the sacrifices, challenges, and setbacks that helped shape an extraordinary career.
“From Romania, Simona Halep” is more than a sports retrospective. It is a celebration of perseverance, courage, and the determination to keep believing in your dreams, no matter the obstacles.
The launch of the experience comes during a particularly meaningful week for Simona, ahead of her Official Retirement Event, which will take place on June 13 in Cluj-Napoca as part of Sports Festival.
The exhibition will be open to visitors at MINA Cluj, located on Orăștiei Street No. 10, starting June 11, 2026. The project was made possible with the support of Banca Transilvania, Sports Festival, and treizecizero.ro.
For everyone who followed, supported, and celebrated every stage of Simona Halep’s career, “From Romania, Simona Halep” offers a unique opportunity to relive a story that inspired millions of Romanians and tennis fans around the world.
